The Unburied Dead

Archaeologists, James and Arla, uncover a deadly secret in the ruins of a Hittite fort high in the Taurus Mountains. Their discovery unleashes a deadly whirlwind of chaos that lands them in a fight for their lives against forces and a deadly disease beyond their worst nightmares.
Ani and Purdu are used to the sleepy farm life of their Hittite village at the foot of the mountains. Their world is rocked when their village is attacked by hoard of cannibalistic demons. Forced to flea, they turn to a scribe for help. Their journey leads them toward the great capital of Hattusha to seek refuge and inform the king of the deadly peril that threatens the empire.
Staying back late at work at the hospital one night, Michael is confronted by a scene of unspeakable violence, perpetrated strangely by a small girl. He soon finds himself blamed for the tragedy that ensues, and seeks refuge with his computer geek friend Nathan. Hunted by the police, they try to solve the mystery of the girl's horrific actions, only to find they are wanted by persons other than the police. Their search for answers places them further in danger as they discover the true scale of the horror that is unfolding around them.

This edition brings the exciting ancient zombie trilogy together for the first time.

Review

"It will have you hooked from page one." 5 stars

"An enthralling read... Each page and chapter leaves you unable to put the book down. I just had to know what happened next. The writing style leads the reader to constantly guess about what the bigger picture is. I look forward to the next book because I just need to know the full storey of the questions left unanswered." 5 stars

"Archaeologists are for once presented in an accurate and realistic manner... So many different concepts, conspiracies and plot elements are established during the course of the book... I for one am looking forward to seeing more." 5 stars

"A good mixture of history, storylines that connect and a mystery. Not your typical super warrior shooter up zombie book, rather a page turner of a mystery novel with a lot of action and suspense." 5 stars
