The future is a hot mess of would-be, what ifs, and nonsense. People like to think of fate as this set plan of what the future should be. That destiny will get them from point a to point b, no matter what they do. As the world’s only future sight, let me set the record straight. Even with my gift to take sneak peeks at the future, It’s unpredictable at best. Which is how I found myself face to face with a handsome blue eyed stranger, who poofed right into my life and my house, to hand deliver a smirk and an unappealing invitation I couldn’t refuse. Turns out, there is an entire society of people with powers like me living in the shadows of normal society, and they just added me to their census with a bright, shiny title I never asked for.
